One Year Artle...or Later, if you must!

Amazing how fast time flies in a 'working' working environment - Teascarlet Fine Art has had another successful year, and I've really enjoyed my job helping create many moments of awe and wonder that make up our days, Talking to passersby and customers of every age, this welcoming haven brought by Hannah to Bonners Ferry is a truly burgeoning environment, where art is always underway, or up on display for interpretation, intrigue and definitely the sheer enjoyment of beauty.

We've had quite a few parties in here, with legacy customers bringing their partners and friends along, who soon become regulars - because it's simply a fascinating opportunity to talk to the artist herself, who always makes time for people. On a normal day, you will likely find Hannah on the floor, painting her heart out or at her desk typing ardently, multitasking like a badass...that is guaranteed. In charge of her own brand, her own marketing and social media content, which is prolific - and an important part of her day, connecting with her audience... growing a thirsty bunch of art lovers like one of her perfect Dahlia paintings!

Come 5pm or so, we often have a beverage, sitting and reflecting on the type of excitement and good trouble we can lead this little town into, to make the very best of their community experience and shopping opportunities.

We hosted an important and jaw-droppingly talented guest artist recently - Komski, whose brilliant metal creations adorned our walls for several weeks. There's one in Teascarlet's front window right now but soon it will go to its delighted new owner's home - although, if you want a sneak Komski peek, take a closer look around the alleys of Main Street and you might just spot one, like a hidden Easter egg; what a joy!

A huge learning curve for me here at Teascarlet, has been recognizing my intimate connection to art, and understanding why I MUST have, and allow all art into my life and into my home. Art truly does speak to one, and I see it communicating passionately around here, when people spot a piece in the gallery and look like they've found a dear friend they've been missing! I could name many names here, but that wouldn't be very professional, so I'll just confess that my husband and I are legacy collectors and hugely proud of our Teascarlet originals and prints, all through our house. It is such a great feeling to sit on your sofa and stare at art instead of the television. Aside from several of Hannah's pieces, we have quite a few local photographic art pieces and a couple of local oil paintings amidst far flung collections from San Diego, London, Johannesburg and Seattle.

I want to encourage everyone to surround themselves with a variety of mediums and style, and this is something Hannah is able to conjure up like a ninja in this modest studio, which doubles up as our groundbreaking Teascarlet Fine Art Gallery. Imagine what you'd like on your walls, or something that evokes a memory or reflects a passion of yours, and Hannah will gladly accept a commission and you'll have something you will treasure forever - and as a legacy piece, this art will remain in your family for generations to come. No 'hotel art' here, although we'd be very happy to make prints and go around replacing said hotel art, should we be invited! Perhaps we should be like Komski and do it anyway.

Ninjart?

Cheers, Hannah! Here's to another fabulous year.
